When and where is the fair?
The International Career Fair takes place annually in San Francisco. Our next event will be on Friday, February 20 and 21, 2009 at the Cathedral Hill Hotel on Van Ness Avenue. For information on directions and parking, check our Logistics section.
Who should attend?
- Students who are finishing their Masters, PhDs or Post-Docs in engineering, science or business
- Experienced professionals interested in international career opportunities in engineering, science or management

Individuals who hold Master’s degrees, including MBAs with technical
backgrounds, PhDs, and Post-Docs in Engineering or Science, looking
for positions in Europe, the Americas and Asia
How do I find more information on the upcoming event?
If you would like to receive more information on ICF'09, make sure to sign up our mailing list. You will be kept informed on registration dates, exhibitor list, agenda, and more. In addition, check our website regularly, as new information is added often. You can also send us an email at candidates@internationalcareerfair.com.
Is there a fee to attend?
No. The event is free, but registration with resume posting is required.
Do I have to have an interview scheduled with a company to attend the event?
No, you can attend the event, even if you have not secured an interview. All companies will meet with you. Keep in mind that you may have to wait in line.
Should I bring a résumé?
Yes! You should plan to bring plenty of résumés to hand out. The hotel has a business center where you can print for a fee.
How will I know what companies/jobs will be at the fair?
In December you will be able to access the listing of recruiting companies with a description of the jobs available by clicking on the Participating Companies link. Information will be updated as soon as received by the exhibiting companies, so make sure to check on a regular basis. For now you can review the list of the previous participating companies.
Do I have to register to attend ICF?
Yes, you have to register to attend. Registration is free. On-line registration for ICF'09 will be available end of November 2008. Walk-in registration is also available on the 2 days of the event. You will be asked to drop off a resume when you register. Keep in mind that companies will not see your resume on the database if you register on the day of the fair.
